Amazon music and itunes can sell your songs for you.
I sell my music on amazon through audiosparx.com, a production music library I discuss on my music licensing page.
I'm able to do this because I have my catalogue with them for licensing as that is my main focus at this time. In addition, they are able to distribute my music through amazon.
However, I would recommend one of the following 3 options if you are looking to sell on itunes, rhapsody, emusic, spotify, amazon music or any of the other major digital distribution platforms. They are inexpensive and they have a world wide reach.
is a low, flat fee service that distributes anyone's music or videos to iTunes, eMusic, AmazonMP3 and many other major download sites while taking no rights and no revenue from the sale of the music. Artists are building careers, selling significant volumes of music and generating revenue while keeping their rights utilizing the new model created by TuneCore.
Tunecore has distributed tens of thousands of albums and millions of songs to iTunes and other digital stores including Grammy winners, record labels and unsigned artists. Customers include Aretha Franklin, Beck, Jay-Z, Keith Richards, Public Enemy, Nine Inch Nails, Ricky Skaggs, Paul Westerberg, MGM Studios, Warren G, Bjork, Moby, High School Musical cast members, Ali Lohan, Cirque Du Soleil, Starbucks and tens of thousands more.
TuneCore currently distributes between 150 - 250 releases a day (more music is released in one day via TuneCore than any major record label over a year) and recently expanded its offering to distribute full-length films, TV shows, live concerts, documentaries etc to iTunes and more.
2. SONGCAST offers a streamlined and affordable music distribution service where artists and labels can release music into major digital stores such as iTunes, AmazonMP3, Google Play, Spotify, Rhapsody, Emusic, and MediaNet. Plus, you'll have access to all of their respective international stores like iTunes Europe, Amazon UK, and many others.
SongCast provides monthly accounting and royalty payments, along with world class artist & label support. And with the tools they have available to promote your music, SongCast makes it easy for you to sell music online.
3. ANOTHER OPTION is to download The Hit Music Academy. It's free and gives you loads of information on setting up a corporation, copyrighting your music, preparing for online sales, submitting to distributors, inexpensive marketing techniques, recording and mastering. It's free and also a very good product.
Either way, your goal should be to get your songs on amazon music and itunes at the very least as they have a global reach that can get your music to the people that are looking to buy it.
